BE WELL

Our first We Have Names 2 event was September 20, 2018 at the Legion in Hope, British Columbia, Canada. We had comedy and speaking that evening. We had a meeting afterward where it was decided that there was a need to start a peer to peer mental health support group.

This mental health support group started in October 3, 2018 in Hope, BC and has helped many people every Wednesday evening since. Starting in early July, 2019 we created the last fifteen minutes to be an arts and craft show and tell with a couple of music performances. It closes off the meeting in a beautiful, creative way.

It is a safe place where we share in confidence and encouragement. It takes a lot of courage to attend the first time. We are there to safely welcome you.

You are not the only one

Please contact us if you are interested in starting a group in your community and we will supply you with the group community documents that we created together and give you a head start. We are based in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada as a start and are growing the grassroots movement from there.

Please note that the support group grew out of a community We Have Names 2 event. We are open to working with you to create events, camps, retreats, workshops, etc. The more that we can meet together as a community regarding mental health the more skills and hope that we can grow.

We find that when we meet together in courage the dignity and hope grows. We have much encouragement and compassion to offer.
